On 17 March, TOUAX SCA received the European Enterprise Award (Prix de l’Entreprise Européenne) in the
Europeanness category.
The European Enterprise Awards, created in 2004, are organised by the HEC international business school,
Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and La Tribune. They aim to reward the best performing European enterprises
on the basis of three criteria – growth, europeanness, M&As – and in two different categories (large enterprises
and SME/SMI).
For Raphaël and Fabrice WALEWSKI, joint managers of TOUAX: "This award is the result of the hard work of all
Group employees, rewarding our long-term strategy."
This award recognises the TOUAX Group for its European development strategy, in particular in Central and
Eastern European markets. By taking the risk of investing abroad and in particular in Europe, the Group's revenue
has risen by over 500% in 10 years from €68.3 million (of which €14.5 million in France) to €364.9 million (of which
€33 million in France).
It was as part of this strategy that in 2007 the Group acquired Warex, a major assembler and lessor of modular
buildings in Germany and market leader in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, a market in which TOUAX opened its
first assembly plant before opening a second manufacturing plant in France, outside Chartres.
Having won a number of design and innovation awards, TOUAX modular buildings meet customer needs by
offering a flexible alternative that is up to 50% cheaper than traditional buildings.
